The Morris County Manual is for the County Clerks office of Morris County, New Jersey. I made this cover in Adobe Illustrator, and I also entered it in a competition, where the Clerk's office will choose their favorite and actually use it as the cover for this years manual.
PLANNINGPROCESSI created the entirety of this design in Adobe Illustrator. I started by tracing an outline of Morris County and the shapes of the towns in the county on paper, and then wrote in the name of the town as the shape of said town by hand. I brought the drawing into Illustrator and drew over my drawing with the blob brush tool. To make it obvious that the shape was Morris County, I drew an outline in red with the blob brush tool and added various accents. I chose the colors red, white, and blue to highlight the colonial and patriotic history of Morris County.

FINAL PRODUCT
I am very pleased with the result of my Morris County Manual. I believe I utilized my time wisely and created the best possible product I could. The centerpiece of this design, the county with the towns within, is my favorite element of the cover and I am very pleased with the outcome. I certainly hope the County Clerk likes it!
